Tekstet shkollore që blihen nga Ministria e Arsimit në Kosovë janë të një cilësie të ulët dhe procesi i prokurimit nuk çon në vlerën më të mirë të parasë.
Duke i vënë librat shkollorë nën licencën ‘’Kulturë e Lirë’’ ata mund të ndahen dhe të përmirësohen mëtutje nga autorë të tjerë. Për më tepër, ky veprim lejon edhe shndërrimin e tyre në formate të tjera siç janë e-librat, dhe kosto më të ulëta në periudhë afatgjatë.

Textbooks bought by the Kosovo Ministry of Education are of low quality and the procurement process does not lead to the best value for the money.
By making the textbooks available under a ‘’Free Culture’’ license, they can be shared and further improved on by other authors. Moreover, this action also allows conversion into different formats such as e-books, and lower costs in the long term.
