Wikivoyage editathon
Travel Massive and FLOSSK are hosting this Sunday a Wikivoyage editathon with the goal of improving touristic information about Kosovo. The event is part of the broader effort to improve tourism in Kosovo.
Wikivoyage is a free web-based travel guide for travel destinations written by people like you. It is a sister project of Wikipedia.
This time we’ll be focusing on the articles in English, but if you can write other major global languages, you are encouraged to help translate. Basic wiki training will be provided in the first hour, so no previous knowledge other than enthusiasm about touristic information is required.
Articles we’ll be working on:
- Kosovo https://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Kosovo
- Prishtina https://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Prishtina
- Gjakova https://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Gjakova
- Prizren https://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Prizren
- Peja https://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Peja
And some mapping here and there.
This event is kindly sponsored by Buffalo Backpackers Hostel.
