altLaura Galante is a leading voice on information operations and intelligence analysis. She founded Galante Strategies in spring 2017 to assist governments and corporations in recognizing and responding to cyber and information threats.

Galante previously served as Director of Global Intelligence at FireEye, a global team of intelligence analysts and researchers focused on collecting and analyzing network activity, profiling advanced cyberthreats, and portraying the intersection of cybersecurity and political, military and economic issues.

Among other things, Galante has worked on the group APT28 aka Fancy Bear, which is though to be responsible for cyber attacks on the US, French and German election processes, the French television station TV5Monde, the White House, and NATO.

Galante has provided commentary on cybersecurity and threat intelligence for the New York Times, the Financial Times, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, the Associated Press and other media worldwide. Prior to her work at FireEye, she led a cybersecurity portfolio covering Russian threats at the U.S. Department of Defense.
