Through this project, we intended to address the low level of information security and lack of knowledge among Civil Society Organisations in Southeast Europe in the protection of their sources and themselves throughout their online activities.
We did this through a set of activities aimed at awareness-raising and capacity building among the target group. We conducted information security-enhancing trainings, auditing and counseling work, a platform to evaluate the security level of news organization websites and a manual of information security for journalists and civil society.
The target countries and organizations benefiting from this project were: Kosovo, Albania, Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro.
This project was implemented in conjunction with Open Data Kosovo.
