Folsh.ai: Zërat shqip në open-source

Folsh.ai ka për qëllim ndërtimin e nji zgjidhjeje open-source Text-to-Speech për gjuhën shqipe. Edoni ka me tregu si ka nis projekti, çka është ndërtu deri tash, edhe pse teknologjia e zërit po bahet gjithnjë e ma e rëndësishme në jetën tonë digjitale. Gjatë sesionit folim për anën teknike të modeleve të AI-së, por edhe anën jo-teknike se si komuniteti mundet me ndihmu në zhvillimin e këtij projekti.

Nëse je zhvillues apo thjesht entuziast, hajde me pa se si bashkë po i japim gjuhës shqipe një zë digjital.

Folës: Edon Sekiraqa, tech leader me mbi 15 vjet përvojë në industrinë e softuerit. Ish-CTO në Frakton, Kin+Carta dhe Valtech. Ligjërues dhe kontribues aktiv në projekte open-source dhe komunitetin e ITsë.

Në fund të meetup-it kemi edhe një mysafir special: Florian Zaskoku. Ai jeton jashtë vendit, por bashkë me ekipin e tij kalojnë të paktën një muaj çdo vit në Kosovë dhe janë të lidhur ngushtë me vendin. Ata do të flasin për punën e tyre të kaluar dhe aktuale, si dhe pse e shohin këtë kohë si mundësi për të kontrubar në komunitet. Qoftë përmes punëtorive, ligjëratave, mentorimit dhe ndihmës praktike aty ku ka nevojë për ekspertizë. Nga ana operacionale, ata shprehin edhe gatishmërinë për me e mbështet FLOSSK-un dhe misionin tonë në përgjithësi.

Starting the first week of 2026 with an AI MEETUP.

Folsh.ai: Open Sourcing the Albanian Voice

Folsh.ai is building an open-source Text-to-Speech solution for the Albanian language. Edon will share how the project started, what has been built so far, and why voice technology is becoming an essential part of our digital lives. The session covers both the technical aspects of AI models and the non-technical role of community in growing an open-source project. Developers and enthusiasts alike will see how collective effort can give the Albanian language a strong digital voice.

Speaker: Edon Sekiraqa
Tech leader with over 15 years of experience in the software industry. Former CTO at Frakton, Kin+Carta, and Valtech. Lecturer and active contributor to open-source projects and IT communities.

At the end of the meetup, we are joined by a special guest: Florian Zaskoku. Based abroad, Florian and his team spend at least one month each year in Kosovo and remain closely connected to the local ecosystem. They will share their past and current work, and why they see this time as an opportunity to give back to the community — through workshops, talks, mentoring, and hands-on support where expertise is needed. From an operational perspective, they also express readiness to support FLOSSK and its broader mission.
