Project description:
Organized for the fourth consecutive year and co-hosted by FLOSSK, BSides Prishtina 2025 was a prominent two-day cybersecurity conference held on April 12–13, 2025, at the University of Prishtina (Blue Building / Administration Building). The event featured a variety of activities including talks from local and international speakers, practical workshops, and a Capture the Flag (CTF) competition.
BSides Prishtina is part of the global BSides movement and remains Kosovo’s flagship event in the field of cybersecurity. The conference continued to support and grow the country’s rising IT talent, especially in the area of information security. It also served as a gathering point for professionals, students, and enthusiasts committed to the field of cyber defense.
Activities:
Delivered multiple cybersecurity-focused talks by international and local experts
Conducted hands-on workshops on InfoSec topics
Organized a Capture the Flag (CTF) hacking competition
Hosted an informal afterparty at Prishtina Hackerspace for continued community networking
Engaged participants over two full days at the University of Prishtina
Beneficiaries:
The primary beneficiaries of BSides Prishtina 2025 were information security students, tech professionals, and enthusiasts from across Kosovo and the region. The event contributed to:
