Prishtina InfoSec Meetup – Cybersecurity Workshop

On February 19th, FLOSSK organized a Prishtina InfoSec Meetup at Prishtina Hackerspace, bringing together cybersecurity professionals, ethical hackers, and enthusiasts to discuss the latest trends, tools, and threats in the field of cybersecurity. This event provided an excellent opportunity for networking, knowledge sharing, and hands-on demonstrations of cutting-edge security technologies. The meetup featured insightful talks from industry experts who covered topics ranging from attack surface management to live demonstrations of hacking tools.

Key Activities:

• Talk 1: “Building Stronger Cybersecurity: The Power of Wazuh in Cyber Defense” – Arian Sheremeti introduced Wazuh, an open-source security monitoring tool, demonstrating its capabilities in detecting and responding to cyber threats.
• Talk 2: “Attack Surface Management” – Shpend Kurtishaj discussed strategies for identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities in an organization’s attack surface.
• Talk 3: “Live Demonstration of Hacking Tools” – Milot Shala and Dardan Prebreza showcased practical hacking techniques using tools such as Flipper Zero, OMG Cable, and WiFi Pineapple.
